We collect only your name, date of birth, and email/phone to create your account. Your device handles all location-based alerts locally—we never see, store, or track your location, health data, or the alerts you view. No third parties get your data.

• Email or Phone Number: For account login and essential notifications.

We do NOT collect or store:

• GPS location, health data, blood type, or donation history.
• Information about which alerts you see or respond to.

2. How Alerts Work (Privacy by Design)

Step 1: Your device fetches anonymized alerts (e.g., blood requests, emergencies) for a broad geographic zone (like a city).
Step 2: The app uses your device’s local GPS (never shared with us) to filter alerts relevant to your area.
Step 3: Notifications appear only on your device. We never know what you see or ignore.
Your data stays private: No location, search history, or alert preferences leave your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Account Creation: Securely authenticate you.
• Notifications: Send critical alerts from verified partners (e.g., hospitals, blood banks).
• Support: Respond to your questions via email/phone.

4. Data Security

• Encryption: All data is secured with TLS/SSL during transmission.
• Storage: Your name, DOB, and email/phone are stored in password-protected databases.
• Retention: Data is deleted immediately when you delete your account.

5. Your Rights

• Delete Your Account: Go to Settings > Delete Account to erase all data permanently.
• Opt Out of Alerts: Disable notifications anytime in device settings.

6. Third Parties

• No Selling/Sharing: We never sell, rent, or trade your data.
• Essential Services: Alerts may be delivered via SMS/email providers (e.g., Twilio), but they cannot access your data.
• Legal Compliance: Data is only disclosed if legally required (e.g., to prevent harm).

7. Children’s Privacy

DragonBlood is not for users under 16. Accounts for minors require verified parental consent.

8. Policy Changes

We’ll notify you via email or in-app alerts 30 days before updates. Continued use means you accept the changes.
