1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to DragonBlood! By accessing or using our app, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service (ToS). If you disagree with any part, refrain from using the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of future revisions.

2. Eligibility and Account Creation

  • Age Requirement: Users must be at least 16 years old to create an account independently.
  • Minors (Under 16): Accounts for minors require verified parental consent via email/SMS or third-party authentication (e.g., Google/Facebook). Only minimal data is collected (child’s name, age, parent’s email).
  • Unique ID: Upon registration, you receive a short, unique identifier (e.g., MA-DBX-12F45). Keep this secure.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Accuracy: Provide truthful information during signup (name, DOB, email/phone).
  • Donation Compliance: Ensure you meet eligibility criteria for blood donation in your region.

4. Gamification Features

  • Egg to Dragon: Users receive an egg that hatches after their first donation or via educational tasks (for minors). Choose a dragon’s element (fire, water, earth, air); evolution occurs through donations, powerups, and milestones.
  • Powerups & Badges: Earn powerups by donating, completing quizzes, or participating in community events. Badges (e.g., “First Donation Hero”) showcase achievements.
  • Non-Transferable: Dragons, powerups, and badges are unique to your account and cannot be sold, traded, or transferred.

5. Child Accounts and Parental Controls

  • Parental Consent: Parents/guardians must approve minor accounts and monitor activity.
  • Kid-Friendly Features: Eggs hatch via family donations or educational activities (e.g., quizzes about altruism). Children receive a non-combat creature (e.g., “Guardian Sprite”) that evolves through learning.
  • Data Protection: No location/contact data is collected from minors. Parents may delete accounts at any time.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Engage in harassment, hate speech, or illegal actions.
  • Cheat, exploit bugs, or create fake accounts.
  • Share false information about blood donation or health.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Your Data: You retain ownership of personal information (see Privacy Policy).
  • DragonBlood Content: All app content (logos, designs, code) is owned by DragonBlood. Redistribution is prohibited.

8. Termination

  • By You: Suspend your account anytime via Settings > Suspend Account.
  • By Us: We may suspend/terminate accounts for violations of these terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

DragonBlood is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or accuracy of third-party content (e.g., blood center alerts).

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Damages arising from app use (e.g., data loss, indirect harm).
  • Actions of third parties (e.g., blood donation centers).

11. Changes to Terms

Updates will be communicated via email or in-app notifications 30 days in advance. Continued use implies acceptance.
